Listen Lanarkshire is a youth led radio station and therefore has a mixture of opportunities for young people.
Listen Lanarkshire Youth Panel:
What would you like to hear on the radio? What projects should the radio station work on?
What issues are important to you and other Young People?
The Youth Panel is for anyone under 25 to help us plan activities and help shape the station's output and identity.
The following statement was formulated with current Youth Panel participants:
"The Listen Lanarkshire Youth Panel promotes Equality, increased Self-worth and the Development of all young people.
We give young people a voice through planning and delivering activities or radio content that reflects young people’s preference of music or issues they want discussed on air via speech content.
Other key values guiding the Youth Panel include Compassion, Kindness, Forgiveness, Trust, and Respect.”

The Listen Lanarkshire Steering Group includes youth representation and communicates with The Youth Panel as equals to inform consensus decision making.
Youth Radio Club:
Open to Primary 4 to 1st Year pupils (flexible) on Monday nights between 4pm and 6pm at Springhill Community Hub.
Host live radio, create podcasts and play games.
